Something looks, sounds and feels familiar about the current stock market activity. It’s all based on fear the journalists and analysts say. And, that appears to be true. But like a rabbit in the headlights it seems that investors don’t know which way to turn. So, I wanted to share two thoughts of wisdom.
Fear is often described as:
Fantasy
Experienced
As
Real
When you think of it this makes sense. Who knows anything about tomorrow? But, if we run a doomsday fantasy in our heads then we will also experience doomsday feelings ~ aka feelings of no confidence. So, I guess we need to get people to run more upbeat fantasies. Try love for a change…
Secondly, they say that this is about confidence. Last week I had a coffee with my good friend, John Niland, and John pointed out a very valuable insight. Confidence is not enough… often what is required is Courage.
Thanks John for Thinking Differently for a Change…
We need to find the confidence to rediscover our courage. Thanks for helping mate.
So, it’s a chicken and an egg? I guess in the immortal words of Einstein…. it’s all relative!
